You deserve wellness, and I believe I can help you achieve wellness. I work exclusively with individuals struggling with reproductive stress and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. This includes trying to conceive, fertility challenges, loss, pregnancy and the postpartum period. Often, approaching child-bearing is the largest shift in our identity as we have known it. This can lead to increased anxiety, depression, rage or feelings of guilt and shame. You are not alone, this is more common than we are led to believe- up to 1 in 5 women experience a PMAD! This period does not need to define you as a person, partner or parent.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and am Certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). My style leads with compassion, acceptance, and a healthy touch of humor. I work to create a warm atmosphere that should feel like talking with an objective, informed friend. I utilize therapeutic techniques in an approachable manner that allows lasting change.
Perinatal challenges are very real and can be devastating. However, they are treatable; PMAD's and reproductive stress are very responsive to psychotherapy. If you are struggling with your mental health while facing fertility challenges, loss or the pregnancy/postpartum period, I would be honored to be by your side. Our goal is the same: wellness.
