Do you love watching and discussing movies? Would you like to learn skills to improve your emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance? Are you interested in using theme, character development, imagery, and dialogue from movies to inform and make sense of your own life experiences? Cinema therapy group may be for you! Group launch August 24th, 2023 . This group will likely run for 8 weeks and is completely virtual. Group cost is $40/group and is open to adults ages 18+ in Pennsylvania. DBT "Greatest Hits" Skills Group
We are pleased to offer a "greatest hits" DBT skills group starting Tuesday 5/21 and running for 12 weeks. If you're interested in getting started with Dialectical Behavior Therapy and are looking for an non-intimidating introduction, this is the group for you! We will cover a core skill every week within the mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness modules. There will be opportunities to share feedback with fellow group members regarding skill practice and ask questions from trained facilitators. This group will be held virtually and will capped at a small number of adult participants.
