Maddie truly appreciates that every individual is unique and believes in taking a person-centered approach when offering counseling services to best meet the needs of her clients. She draws on a variety of therapeutic techniques to help each person meet their individual goals, including Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), mindfulness techniques, and self-compassion, among others.
Maddie has a special interest in helping children, adolescents and adults who have, or have experienced, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions and trauma. She also welcomes the opportunity to work with any individual interested in improving their general mental health and well-being.
Maddie wants her clients to feel empowered by developing an awareness of their emotions and a language they can use to talk about their feelings and experiences. She is honored to have the opportunity to meet people wherever they are on their mental health journey and to walk alongside them, helping to guide and support them as needed.
