I have extensive training in LGBTQIA+ affirming counseling and have a passion for work within this population, as well as within sex-positive and kink-allied counseling. I believe that everyone deserves a space to feel heard and valued, not in spite of your identity, but as a foundational component of who you are. I believe that every client is the expert on their own life, and should thus be treated with respect and as an equal partner in the therapeutic relationship. I strive to maintain a fully non-judgmental and empathetic approach.
I strive for my therapy sessions to feel relaxed and comfortable, while also fostering a space of trust for your emotions to feel welcomed and valued. I employ therapeutic techniques from many different modalities, with the primary theories being Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Person-Centered Therapy.
