Working under the supervision of Bonnie Marshall and Katie Bateman, I am passionate about working with teens and young adults who struggle to navigate growing up in the era of social media and smartphones. I help my clients change their behaviors, thoughts and beliefs in a way that improves their feelings of self-esteem, self-worth and acceptance. My work with clients enables them to navigate the parts of their past that impact their present. Though diagnosis and treatment modalities such as DBT and CBT are part of my practice, focusing on the individual as a whole is the most important element of my therapeutic approach.
I specialize in working with teens and young adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, body image, self-harming and family system issues. As someone who has been touched by the impact of alcohol and substance abuse in my family system, I am passionate about working with those struggling with addiction and their family members.
My therapeutic style is relational and psychodynamic, exploring how changes in different areas of life can improve well-being. My passion is supporting adolescents and young adults navigate the changes that come with growing up. My goal is to help clients not only survive but thrive.
