I understand why there has been a recent rise in anxiety and depressive symptoms for many people of all ages. Major events and unexpected life changes can cause a significant amount of stress and anxiety. Stress can make us feel out of control and overwhelmed physically, mentally and emotionally. Things from our past can start to impact us more in our present. Relationships can seem more challenging and trusting ourselves almost impossible. Every person is different and when you take a closer look at every aspect of your life with help from an objective support it can help you see things more clearly and offer ways to cope.
For the past 8 years I have been practicing counseling in a variety of settings including large agencies, military bases, and private practice. I use my values of being nonjudgmental and compassionate every day. My specialized trainings in coping with trauma, anxiety, and relationships help me guide clients to feel more in control of their lives.
