We come into this world oriented to our own bodies and needs; yet along the way, we're told our bodies are the problem and learn to distrust them. If you're struggling with disordered eating, perfectionism, anxious thought spirals, body image distress, burnout, or obsessive thoughts, your body is speaking to you in some way or another. My passion is supporting women, particularly those in early adulthood and motherhood, truly listen and reconnect to themselves so we can move toward a world of collective liberation for all.
My approach is client-led, strengths-based and rooted in principles of self-compassion and social justice. I often draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, parts work and somatic concepts, though I prioritize the therapeutic relationship and your individual needs over any one approach.
I believe safety, dignity and belonging are essential ingredients to healing, and finding a therapist who deeply understands you is an important part of this process.
