Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, individual or familial substance use, a challenging relationship, or coping with life’s difficult transitions? As a licensed clinical social worker, I bring empathy, energy, and expertise to help individuals navigate life's challenges. With a client-centered approach, I aim to create a safe space for open dialogue so individuals and families can unlock their full potential.
I have experience with individuals and families in various settings, including Child Protective Services, in which, I helped families utilize their strengths to enhance family dynamics and functioning. I also train undergraduate and graduate students in different areas of public child welfare including trauma, substance use, and intimate partner violence.
My style incorporates evidence-based techniques and a strengths-based perspective to foster positive change. As a certified Motivational Interview (MI) practitioner and a MI trainer, I value the opportunity to partner with you through the process of positive change.
