Sometimes our best attempts to cope can end up holding us back or hurting us in the long run. The good news is that we are amazing and adaptive beings. What was learned as a way to stay safe in the world can be considered and evaluated. I exclusively devote my practice to the Deaf community, focusing on identifying and responding to the unique needs of Deaf, hard-of-hearing, deaf-blind, and late-deafened individuals; members of the cochlear implant community; and their families.

I have had the opportunity to practice in both rural and urban settings doing both community and agency work. Initially, I began working in the field of addiction and trauma.
