Dr. Sumio Shinohara is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts who has more than 15 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and couples seeking help with depression, anxiety, life transitions, men’s issues, trauma/PTSD, mood disorders, grief and loss, and relationship issues. Dr. Shinohara received a master of science in counseling psychology from Abilene Christian University in TX, and completed his doctor of psychology in clinical psychology at William James College in MA. He also received his psychoanalytic training at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis.

Hello! My name is Greg Corbett and I am a LMHC in the state of Massachusetts. I have been working as a therapist on some level for the last 7 years. During my time as an undergraduate, I had the pleasure of having two separate internships; one at a rape crisis/domestic violence hotline and one at a substance use treatment center. Through these two internships, I was able to learn what it was like to be a therapist and discover that I wanted to continue to pursue my education to become a therapist myself.

Who are you really? This is a question I ask my clients. I have been a psychotherapist and consultant for over 30 years. I draw on my innate intuitive abilities as well as my traditional clinical training to bring healing and transformation to my clients. My family systems background allows me to see the individual as a multifaceted system. What we perceive as a “problem” often reflects how we have adapted to the stress and trauma that we may have endured. Our perceived problems, such as addiction to substances, and other self- defeating patterns become encoded within our whole system, and ultimately distort our true essence.

With 12 years of experience working with clients going through individual, relationship, and family issues, Celebrity Therapist Dr. Jeff Rocker has provided therapeutic services to clients nationwide. He is Licensed in 14 states and has served clients from all age groups. Over the years, Dr. Jeff has organized lectures and various events in the community, including excursions and retreats for couples to improve their communication and better understand each other. He has experience working with athletes in the NFL, NBA, and MLB. In addition, Dr. Jeff has also worked with clients in the Movie, Music, and Entertainment Industries.

My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative and solution-focused. I incorporate mindfulness techniques to increase awareness of harmful thoughts and behaviors, and skill building exercises to increase emotion regulation, resilience, and psychological flexibility. I hold an advanced certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from Boston University and have extensive training in mindfulness-based therapies.
