I offer traditional psychotherapy, expressive therapy, and holistic coaching depending on what is needed. My specialty is women’s reproductive mental health and wellness and I am also completing advanced training in grief, loss, and trauma. I see adults and older teens with a variety of problems and needs.

I enjoy working with adults, couples, and blended families with a wide range of challenges including: identity, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, relational dynamics, limit-setting, loss, parenting, and transitions. I strive to provide a warm, safe, collaborative space to help clients explore their feelings and understand the origins of their challenges. As this occurs, new options become available for living a more engaged and satisfying life.

I've been a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), and a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) for almost twenty years. I work with individuals, couples, and families out of the basement office of my home in Arlington, MA. My most basic therapeutic approach is that everyone is born good and whole. But, life happens and it sends us difficulties that we can’t always understand or handle. These difficulties can happen as children, adolescents, adults, in school, home, work, and in our marriages. Sometimes these problematic life experiences can affect our core beliefs negatively and/or overwhelm our abilities to cope.

With 12 years of experience working with clients going through individual, relationship, and family issues, Celebrity Therapist Dr. Jeff Rocker has provided therapeutic services to clients nationwide. He is Licensed in 14 states and has served clients from all age groups. Over the years, Dr. Jeff has organized lectures and various events in the community, including excursions and retreats for couples to improve their communication and better understand each other. He has experience working with athletes in the NFL, NBA, and MLB. In addition, Dr. Jeff has also worked with clients in the Movie, Music, and Entertainment Industries.

Much of who we are today is the result of life events that left us feeling helpless, alone or broken. Some of those wounds if they go unchecked may cause us to rely on unhealthy coping mechanisms, a loud inner critic and/or a self rejection part. I'll be on maternity until 9/23. Waitlist only. It seems like you have tried everything and nothing seems to work or isn't long lasting. Young adulthood can be difficult; their personalities change and you fear that they might not overcome their challenges. Not only do I work with teens, but also adults who are experiencing life transitions, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and family issues. It can be nerve-racking to reach out to a counselor because you want to ensure you find someone who you can truly connect with. I have a clinician who joined the team who will offer services to teens, young adults and adults.

Veronica Medina, PhD, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and an Organizational Psychologist with 24 years of experience. Dr. Medina completed her master's degree in Counseling at Valparaiso University and her doctorate in Organization Psychology (PhD) at Walden University. She is an adjunct professor with a health studies department where she teaches holistic medicine, human sexuality, stress management, and statistics. Dr. Medina offers counseling and talk therapy services; however, she does not currently offer psychological testing.
