I draw from multiple psychotherapy approaches to help with anxiety, stress, relationship issues, identity and obsessional struggles.
We - as humans - at times get anxious, sad or stuck. Major life transitions, such as life stage or relationship changes, career or identity crises, or significant loss, can leave us questioning ourselves as well as our sense of direction and purpose. On the other hand, we can long for change but don't know how to create it, leaving us feeling stagnant or trapped. I combine an actively curious, accepting and collaborative approach with a secure therapeutic framework to help my clients navigate change and live life with more vitality, meaning and satisfaction.

People come to see me when they feel stuck and have had enough. I help parents help their children; help couples and families get closer and happier; and in general help people successfully resolve issues such as: stress, anxiety, adjustment to new life circumstances (relocation, family changes), relationship issues (divorce, extra-marital affairs, conflict), and dealing with difficult family members. Typical 50 minute sessions don't work for everyone, so I offer longer sessions when appropriate (up to 4 hours), where we use experiential techniques (meditation, sound, movement, Ketamine) to go deeper and facilitate transformation.

We may seek treatment to cope with stress, work through a crisis, gain relief from pain, or escape from troubling patterns. Couples can feel at a loss to connect with one another, to regain the spark that once came so easily. We can feel stuck, calcified. Therapy can address these issues, and in doing so can can also provide more than expected: greater adaptability and resourcefulness, and a livelier relationship with one’s self and with others.

Therapy should be a life-affirming experience where you can feel heard, valued, and supported as you share your hopes and struggles. I provide psychotherapy to adults living with anxiety, depression, psychosis-spectrum disorders, and those going through any big life change. I especially love helping new parents with the difficulties that can coincide with pregnancy and postpartum. As a former tenure-track professor, I also enjoy working with people experiencing similar high- stress work environments.

I am a body-centered therapist, which means we'll explore how you experience stress and emotions in your body and learn skills to recognize and move through difficult experiences with self-compassion and calm.
Hi, I'm Rebecca. Many of my clients are women and nonbinary folks in their 20s and 30s who are exploring their neurodivergence (usually Autism and/or ADHD) as an adult. They may already have a neurodivergent identity or be in the process of figuring out their experiences. Together, we explore their unique strengths, learn how to meet sensory and self-care needs, and address challenges that arise from living in a neurotypical world. As a late-identified neurodivergent person, I have found that embracing our neurodivergence can lead us on a powerful journey of self-discovery, joy, and connection with ourselves and others.
