You are not alone and we are not meant to do life alone. Contact me to receive support to address issues related to ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Parenting challenges, Relationship Issues, Self-Harm & related safety concerns.

I support people struggling with stress, anxiety, and relationship issues, which can get in the way of experiencing joy, finding peace, reaching goals, or expressing love. When we run into these barriers, we need space to observe what we are doing and how we are feeling. We need space to process why and how things came to be. We need a safe and informed space to learn new ways of coping in order to make lasting positive changes in our lives. I believe that therapy works best when there is a deep understanding and appreciation of the client's unique hopes, dreams, and strengths. Because of this, I strive to truly see you, and listen.

You're a gifted, dynamic, busy woman exhausted by life's competing demands. You put pressure on yourself to "do it all." You smile and take on the day, avoiding your emotional pain by staying busy. You have parenting, caregiving, relationship, or life transition issues that are being ignored, leading to anxiety, depression, medical issues, low motivation, and lack of fulfillment. Your past and current traumas are impacting your sleep and daily functioning. You've realized you need help, and you feel bad about that too. After all, you SHOULD be able to handle it all and keep smiling!

It is my sincere belief that we all can benefit from a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore the most vulnerable parts of ourselves. We all have a need to be seen and heard. It is my hope to create such an environment with the therapeutic relationship at its core. Utilizing a primarily relational, psychodynamic approach, I work with my clients to create a treatment plan that reflects their needs, goals and values.

I take pride in building a strong relationship of trust through humility, warm humor and complete acceptance of clients for who they are.
You might be feeling down on yourself right now or frustrated with your current situation. It might be a struggle to make it through the day at school or work, interact with family and friends, or manage daily activities. Are you upset and irritable because you can’t seem to cope like you did before? Have things been feeling pretty bad for a while, despite everything you’ve tried? Reaching out for support and an objective perspective is a smart and brave move when things are not going well. I’d love to discuss how we can work together on coping skills, finding solutions, and fostering lasting changes in your life and relationships.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
