Clients have received positive results on a variety of issues; life transitions, performance issues, stress/anxiety and relationship struggles.

These changes, transitions, growth opportunities, or what not, include maintaining sobriety, exploring sexual orientation and gender expression, couples who want to transform their relationship, or learning to adult.
We all go through transitions. Sometimes they seem as easy as exhaling after holding your breath. Then there are the times when it can be painful, overwhelming, and lonely. Whether you’re going to the next level of education, starting a career, or changing jobs, it can make life feel scary and uncertain (kind of like deciding to explore an eternal abyss). That’s where I come in. I’m here to help you cross whatever proverbial bridge you have in front you. Since 2015, I've worked with folks from 12 to 60 going through some changes using an eclectic but meaningful combination of theories and interventions.

This can be a client who struggles with their anxiety, possibly has poor attachment styles, and struggles with holding meaningful relationships (romantic, platonic, familial). Their goals would be identifying healthy boundaries and healthy responses, increasing effective communication skills, and identifying past relationships/present relationships in order to identify patterns/habits.

Ideally, I would like a client who is self-aware, receptive to feedback, and willing to hold themselves accountable.

“A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there”. As a person and a therapist, I believe that growth can, at times, be very uncomfortable. How else would you know that change is happening though? My goal is to be there to help offer a space of comfort to guide you through those uncomfortable moments along your journey. I have worked with individuals who have experienced depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, conflict in interpersonal relationships, and sexual issues/addiction. Finding your authentic self can be difficult, but not impossible.

I focus on addressing diagnoses such as post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression with particular focus on teens, young adults, and first responders.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
