I need two more women to start my fall virtual trauma group.
I recently decided to let go of my office and offer virtual sessions. My practice is limited to women. Although I specialize in the treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of childhood abuse (physical, sexual, emotional), I have a few openings for women struggling with other issues such as depression, anxiety, and life stressors. I am getting ready to start an online survivor group and self-esteem group. Groups have been by far the most lifechanging mode of therapy in my 30 years of experience.

This includes stressors such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief.
Accepting new clients! Therapy is a collaborative experience that helps you build a more enriching life through self-reflection, healing, and reaching personal goals, as well as integrate whole-health centered approaches that focus on the mind, body, and spirit. I believe in taking a person-centered eclectic approach to therapy, which combines many different theoretical frameworks. I recognize each person’s individual therapy goals and understand that therapy is not a “one size fits all” model.

Sub-specialties: Anxiety and Stress Management Depression Relationship Issues Low achievement Compulsive/Addictive Disorders Trauma Parent consultation Personal Growth and Fulfillment.
Dr. Packard is a Modern Psychoanalyst and Licensed Mental Health Clinician. He has demonstrated an unique ability to integrate various forms of therapy into one unified approach; a blend of cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapy for problems of everyday life. Why use Integrative Psychotherapy? Most clinicians know that no one single theory or therapy works for all clients, all problems or situations. However, the vast majority of therapists strongly adhere to one particular approach which is fine if their approach matches the client they are seeing, the problem they are treating, where the client is in treatment, and so forth.

I tailor my approach to whatever is most beneficial for the client and facilitate positive change, whether that includes EMDR, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed or solution-focused work, or even play therapy with little ones.
Things can get better. Are you looking for a respectful, compassionate and confidential setting where your voice will be heard? If you or your child have been struggling with issues such as increased sadness, anxiety, or the inability to process emotional events, counseling may help. There are many challenges in life, but getting help and support shouldn't be one of them.
