Well done for taking the first steps on finding support. I imagine you are here because you are experiencing some kind of unrest in your life or relationships. Maybe you feel burnt out from work, relationships, or parenting. Or are just feeling overwhelmed in the midst of some life changes. Maybe it's hard for you to say no, or you put a lot of pressure and expectation on yourself. We can work together to learn how to prioritize yourself and your needs.

Hi, I'm Alexandra Enos, a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC). I view therapy as a collaborative approach to the various challenges an individual may be facing. My main focus is on providing unconditional positive regard to the client in order to support them in their healing process. Throughout my career, I have used various approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, & person-centered therapy. As the therapeutic process evolves, I am able to identify which treatment modalities are beneficial to the individual client; this entails flexibility with the approach used.

I recently decided to let go of my office and offer virtual sessions. My practice is limited to women. Although I specialize in the treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of childhood abuse (physical, sexual, emotional), I have a few openings for women struggling with other issues such as depression, anxiety, and life stressors. I am getting ready to start an online survivor group and self-esteem group. Groups have been by far the most lifechanging mode of therapy in my 30 years of experience.

You may be struggling with chronic illness, anxiety, a life transition, caregiver stress, depression, relationship conflict, or the day to day demands of keeping it all together. We can figure out how to make it better and not so overwhelming. I’ve been graced with the opportunity to work with hospice patients and families, those with chronic illness, and individuals with life impacting mental health and/or life stage issues. I am an active listener, and I ask for feedback.
