I am a clinical psychologist practicing for more than two decades. My approach is to provide a safe and comfortable space in which clients can share their worries, concerns, and fears that are part of daily living. I use cognitive-behavioral treatment, which emphasizes the importance of how we understand events, ourselves, and others; these affect our feelings and the way we go about our daily lives. The goal is to improve insight AND making changes to improve our quality of life. Many of my clients struggle with adjusting to difficult situations, and want to move forward from difficult situations that affect day-to-day life.

I value seeing the child as part of the whole family system and want to be able to support the child and family the natural environment to increase carryover and build faster success. This is why I offer home based pediatric occupational therapy or utilize a parent coaching method. I love working with parents to support their child and make everyone’s everyday life easier. My background is in ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities and building successful daily routines, including mealtimes, dressing, bath time, etc. while also incorporating executive functioning skills and/or sensory and self regulation using an interoception method.

Hello! I use a holistic approach with the type of therapies that I use; combining features from DBT, CBT, trauma informed therapies and motivational interviewing. Most of my work has been related to people who are experiencing depression and anxiety that may be lifelong or situational. I work with adults and elders but have experience working with younger clients as well. My passion is helping people manage the challenges of loved ones who are going through life transitions related to long-term illness or end of life stages.

I am trained in cognitive behavioral and psychoanalytic treatment modalities and consider psychotherapy as both an opportunity to address and reduce suffering, and to engage in a process of personal education. My practice focuses on patients who are seeking an alliance in addressing their concerns and suffering as well as patients who are seeking and willing to re-learn and engage in self-exploration toward the ends of better adjustment, understanding and awareness.
