Welcome to The Be Center. A place for parents. DBT for parents. We are a telehealth parent-focused center dedicated to helping parents navigate the challenges of having a child or young adult who is struggling with behavioral and emotional issues. We believe parents need support in knowing WHAT and HOW to cope with, understand, and respond to the challenges that arise when a loved one is struggling with mental health. When parents feel nourished and empowered, they are able to guide their families back to wellness. How do we do this? We support parents thought parent coaching, Individual and couples therapy.

Ihave worked in mental health for about 7 years now. I have worked in a range of settings including at an inpatient hospital setting, home therapy, and outpatient therapy. I have worked with both children, adolescents and adults experiencing depression, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, stress, challenging family dynamics, grief and loss, and life transitions.

MY PRACTICE IS CURRENTLY FULL. I work primarily with children and adolescents who face a range of challenges. Among these might be anxiety, negotiating peer relationships, learning disabilities, ADHD, and/or losses (e.g. divorce, illness/death of a loved one). During the assessment process, I believe in learning the strengths of the child, parent(s), and other support networks (e.g extended family, school, religious community). From there, I collaborate with the parents and child/adolescent to create a plan for them to develop the skills necessary to address their current challenges.

Hello! My name is Greg Corbett and I am a LMHC in the state of Massachusetts. I have been working as a therapist on some level for the last 7 years. During my time as an undergraduate, I had the pleasure of having two separate internships; one at a rape crisis/domestic violence hotline and one at a substance use treatment center. Through these two internships, I was able to learn what it was like to be a therapist and discover that I wanted to continue to pursue my education to become a therapist myself.

Please note: I can't take insurance but I have a sliding scale - we will figure something out! - - Everyone has their own strengths and needs, children and adults alike. Sometimes the needs are overwhelming and the strengths are hard to find. Those are times when it helps to have someone who will listen, understand, support, validate, encourage, and help. I believe it's important to honor all emotions as valid and all needs as real. I also believe those needs don't have to define who you are, and that recognizing and accepting something as real - a loss, a child's behaviors - opens the way to start making positive changes.
