I am a private practitioner and I am accepting new clients. I maintain a general clinical practice and have extensive experience treating clients in various settings such as community mental health, school-based and private practice. In addition to my private practice, I am currently the district-wide adjustment counselor for Northbridge Public Schools. I bring an in-depth understanding of mood and anxiety disorders, relational/family issues as well as emotional dysregulation and impulse control issues to name a few.

Hi! My name is Vielka and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Massachusetts (LMFT). I have been working in the mental health field since 2012. I have experience conducting individual and family therapy, in various settings: in-office, in the home, and online with clients presenting with a broad range and severity of clinical issues. However, I have the most experience working with Autism, depression, anxiety, a wide range of challenges within family relationship/blended families/parenting struggles, teen concerns, as well as personal growth, adjustment issues, and crisis.

I am a licensed social worker with 11 years of experience in the field. My primary role was in the emergency services field, I have seen people at their worst moments. My approach is inclusive and affirming, ensuring that every individual feels seen and supported.

Over the past 26+ years, it has been my honor and privilege to work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from different cultural backgrounds. I have experience working with clients and families who have had challenges with difficult life events to people struggling with major mental illness. My goal as a therapist is to explore what brings you, your partner, and/or child into therapy and together formulate different approaches that utilize your strengths to develop skills to best help you address your specific needs.
