Some of the frameworks I pull from include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy ( CBT), psychodynamic methods, IFS, ERP, and hypnotherapy, but I tend to create personalized treatment plans that address the underlying causes of distress.
In these times of uncertainty and change, I am offering a space of hope and connection. I believe that therapy is a space to be seen and valued - a space to slow down, reflect, and engage in vulnerability. I understand the unique challenges faced by POC and immigrants, such as navigating cultural differences, acculturation stress, and intergenerational conflicts. In addition, I have a focus on working with college students and working professionals. In our work, we'll explore how cultural factors intersect with your mental health - nurturing a strong sense of identity and helping you to navigate life's complexities.

I use a multidimensional approach consisting of CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and elements of Psychodynamic Therapy, all through a trauma-informed lens.
Are you tired of living life in autopilot? Are you sick of the mundane routine that has become your day to day? Do you find yourself feeling alone or unable to connect with others? Therapy offers a chance to change things up. Each is its own little safe haven designed to release difficult emotions and gain different perspectives from the one that keeps us stuck. Let me help you clear out the cobwebs of your life! My goal is to create a warm environment that fosters real human connection that leaves you feeling like you are part of something bigger than yourself.

I use a holistic approach to therapy, using Cognitive Behavioral therapy, integrating mindfulness techniques and emphasizing individual strengths.
A therapist's role is to support a client through their journey of self discovery. I aim to build a warm, therapeutic relationship, creating a nonjudgemental space to explore challenges, gain more insight into thoughts and patterns and develop solutions to problems. By using thoughtful questions and genuine curiosity, my goal is to support you and provide guidance in navigating life's obstacles and foster growth and healing.

I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy ( CBT), and psychodynamic therapy modalities.
I bring space for my clients through a warm, welcoming, and non-judgemental as well as unconditional lens. Sometimes it can be figuring out your true identity and what drives you to do the things you do, other times it can be day to day issues. My goal in therapy is to provide a safe space to my clients to feel heard and understood. It's hard in everyday life to overcome the challenges that our mind creates, and I hope to help clients work through the issues that comes with being human and living in today's society.

Combined with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT and Mindfulness, it's possible to find more self compassion.
Have you ever been stuck in a snowbank, with your tires spinning, having to rock your car back and forth over the ice again and again until you make your way out? Perhaps you had to dig the car out. Maybe you needed a little push. Maybe you needed a tow truck. Whether you need a push or a tow truck, Active Insights Therapy is all about helping you dig and pull yourself out of those stuck places. I love helping my clients discover their inner best friend, know what they deserve in relationships and move toward their higher calling while taking action in life. Above all, I love making really bad jokes!
