I will help you to get to the root of your challenges and break negative cycles using DBT, CBT, EMDR, Somatic therapy, and emotional regulation strategies.
People say "you are too sensitive" when you share how you feel. You don't like how you speak impulsively. Your family and heritage are important to you but there is tension. You think about your past in negative ways and it's hard to focus on the present moment. It's hard to feel relaxed in your body. At times you feel restless and at other times stiff and numb. Feeling balanced is tough.

I use evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) along with experiential therapy.
I wonder if you ever feel like you are in a thunderstorm with no shelter in sight? Or your worries are so heavy that they spill into your dreams? To be human is to struggle. Maybe you have been struggling for a long time or maybe just a short while. No matter what storm you are weathering, I am here to walk beside you and help you find shelter. My specialties include the treatment of anxiety, grief/loss and self worth. Difficulties in life are usually more complex than just falling into one category or another; but know that you are seen. Together, we can find a healing approach that works best for you.

I am intensively trained in DBT, CBT, and exposure based treatments for anxiety and trauma.
Does it feel like anxiety or other emotions hold you hostage? Or do you, your teen, or your college-aged child struggle to make sense of your emotions or feel like emotions (or running from emotions) drive your decisions? Emotions are beautiful and challenging, and I love helping teens, young adults, and adults navigate the storm. I completed my post-doc training at McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School in the 3East Intensive Program providing adherent DBT therapy to adolescents. I have experience in a range of settings including community mental health, IOP, PHP, and Residential Treatment.

I approach psychotherapy from a place of empathy and non-judgment. I tailor my treatment approach to each unique individual I work with, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, relational, dialectical-behavioral and motivational interviewing; assisting clients with both the here-and-now symptoms (e.g. anxiety, depression) and the underlying issues associated with those symptoms (e.g. relationship problems, identity issues, past experiences of trauma).

Hi my name is Molly Radke and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have a Masters of Counseling from Gordon-Conwell in Massachusetts and a BA in psychology from Northwestern College in Minnesota. I have a diverse background of experience working with all ages and modalities. I have helped people with many issues find more stability and happiness. I usually do a combination of skills work (DBT and CBT) and processing issues with clients. I find this combination to give the best balance of structure and insight. I genuinely believe that life is hard and we all need help from others to get through.

While I am trained in EMDR, DBT, and IFS, and Narrative therapy (which is my predominant style) I am always learning with my clients and bring awareness but not authority into session so that my clients may clarify to me the world as they see it before I attempt to intervene with any assumptions.
I believe that problems develop relationally and therefore it makes sense to solve them relationally: to seek resolution through genuine understanding is the work of therapy. In my experience, the relief that clients seek is contingent upon being seen as they are, and as they want to be seen, and feeling understood.
