My ideal patient comes with an open mind to participate in talk therapy and narrative therapy. Ready to start a process - not necessarily eager to engage but wanting to make a change. They are sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Whether you are brand new to therapy or are many years into your journey, you deserve a place free from judgement where you can deepen your self understanding, build confidence in yourself, and find solutions to the problems you are facing. My approach to therapy is collaborative and strengths-based, centering on your goals and recognizing the capacity all humans possess to grow, heal, and change. I see my role as a therapist to provide you with the tools, resources and supportive environment (with a side of humor) necessary to foster that growth and get "unstuck" when facing challenges in your life.

My ideal client would be new to therapy, though motivated to change. I am aware of the challenges that come with seeking therapy and want to be a support to those who are hesitant with the process. Ideally, I would like a client who is self-aware, receptive to feedback, and willing to hold themselves accountable.

I want to work with anyone looking to feel better. I enjoy helping others find relief from anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma and other symptoms or mental health conditions. I help clients find and address what is preventing their ability to function, grow, thrive, or just relax! I also enjoy helping people discover more about themselves and reconnect with their sense of meaning or purpose in life. Therapy takes effort and commitment and, in exchange, provides freedom from suffering. I would love to help you discover the gift I believe therapy can give to you.

I'm not sure I believe in an Ideal client; I think all clients are Ideal, no matter their life circumstances. Life is like a rollercoaster, and when you're going down, you may need someone to be there and help talk you through it. However, If I had to choose, it would be a client having difficulty with self-esteem, self-worth, and depressive symptoms and needing additional assistance building coping skills but expressing readiness to change.
