When anxiety overtakes your life, it can feel impossible to regain control. That anxiety may be rooted in a traumatic event, a major life transition, or the luck of the genetic lottery. Individual therapy is a helpful way to explore what you're experiencing, learn new strategies for coping, and find healthy control in your life. Since 2008, I've worked in the mental health field with a broad range of individuals and symptoms. Now I want to distill my experience and training to focus on helping individuals with trauma-related symptoms, OCD, and anxiety. I offer a unique blend of EMDR, IFS-informed therapy, ERP, CBT, and mindfulness.
I believe that we're all doing our best with the resources we have in this moment. My goal is to help you learn new skills and build your confidence, so that you can cope with any ongoing challenges without my help. I tailor the therapy process to your needs and goals, and I welcome feedback about what is and is not working for you.
I'm currently seeing clients by telehealth only on Tuesday mornings, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I recommend a 15-minute phone call for new clients, to determine whether we're an appropriate fit for each other before scheduling or joining the wait list.
