Groups
Betrayal Trauma Support Group
Experiencing betrayal in a relationship can be a deeply traumatizing experience. In addition to offering mutual support, we will discuss the impact of betrayal trauma, symptoms of post-traumatic stress, and the impact of betrayal on attachment and future relationships. The group will also focus on maintaining healthy boundaries and developing positive coping skills. Please call with any questions and to discuss whether the group will be a good match.
Non-offending Parent Support Group
The discovery of child sexual abuse is an upsetting and traumatic experience for any parent. In this group you will meet other parents who understand what you are going through. In addition to mutual support, the group will provide education on topics such as understanding possible symptoms experienced by sexually abused children, understanding the process of grief and loss, understanding the legal system, ways a parent/caregiver can help a child recover, and teaching your child body safety skills. Please call with any questions and to determine if the group will be a good match.
