I see clients of differing backgrounds presenting with a wide range of concerns, including, loss and grief, lack of satisfaction and meaning in life, relationship problems, mood disorders, chronic illness or pain, coping skills deficits, goal setting and time management problems, to name but a few.
My specialty involves emotion regulation disorders, which are often associated with some kind of skills deficit. Therapy becomes in part a process of identifying and helping my clients learn the skills to make desired changes in their lives, especially the skill of mindfulness and shifting one's inner narrative about self and life.
The core pillars of my practice include an ongoing exploration of balance, focus, and clients' ability to mindfully live the day they are in with meaning and intention.
