Kids don't always know how to manage difficult transitions or feelings by using their words. Instead, an unhappy or anxious child may present with behaviors that are upsetting. I can help discover underlying issues and guide young people in finding ways to better express what is on their minds.
I can connect easily with children using play therapy, art, cognitive behavioral techniques and lots of humor. I can also help parents that feel stuck, working on finding solutions to increase communication and connection. We can work together, deciding if it is best to have visits with your child or you may want a safe place to share parenting struggles.
