I recently relocated to California from Florida, where I have extensive experience working with adults and older adolescents who present with a wide variety of issues and concerns. Central to my practice is helping my clients to actively learn skills to feel more grounded, present, relaxed and engaged in their daily lives and relationships. At all times I am guided by evidence-based practice and what available research has shown to be effective for a given issue.
I fully understand that calling a therapist and asking for help is a difficult and intimidating prospect. I will do my humble best to help you feel accepted, understood, and valued as we identify and work towards goals that are meaningful to you.
If you have substance issues, I employ harm reduction strategies in addition to traditional abstinence support and will meet you wherever you currently are in your desire for change.
