Hello, I am Dr Lynn Bradford, a licensed psychologist who works with children, adolescents and their families. Treatment focuses on developing effective coping skills to manage issues with mood and behavior. Parents learn how to effectively manage their child’s emotional and behavioral problems. The goal of therapy is to improve emotional adjustment that results in improved behavior and functioning in daily activities.
Clients and their parents can expect to be involved in developing a treatment plan, the setting of goals and how goals will be achieved. Parents will receive education on their child’s diagnosis and strategies to manage behavior. Clients will learn how to manage their mood and behavior through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy.
