Most clients seek therapy due to mental health struggles such as depression, anxiety, or adjustment disorders that many times come from having a difficult childhood or trauma. Whether using a variety of modalities such as CBT, DBT, Solution Focused, Mindfulness, Gestalt or working through grief the client can learn life-long skills to overcome their adversities and to move forward in life.
With 20 years of mental health experience (therapist and case manager), I have come to a place where listening and supporting the client is paramount for recovery. Being heard and having non-judgment can lead one to their visions of what it is they want. Gently moving from a place of constriction to one's longings brings about hope, which leads to change.
