I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 15 years of experience working with adults (ages 18 and older) and specializing in substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, and general life stressors. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to truly be heard in a nonjudgmental, caring, safe environment, as well as to be happy and content in their lives, and I would like to listen to your individual needs and help you accomplish your goals so that you can reach a place of peace and joy in your life.
My practice consists of multi-modal interventions, pulling from cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, solution-focused, and person-centered therapies as well as motivational interviewing. I believe a collaborative approach is best, which is why each therapy session is tailored to meet your individual needs.
I consider myself to be an open-minded and empathetic therapist who is also genuine, supportive and LGBTQIA+ affirming. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, twin boys and other family and friends. I also love being outdoors, listening to music while singing along, and reading, both for personal and professional development.
