This person might have a goal of changing their behavior or managing emotional responses. The ideal client would like to work on their goals by discussing their environment, outside factors, and their own abilities to cope and manage. They are open to new strategies and tools and are honest and open with the clinician.
I utilize various methods, theories, and evidence-based practice to help individuals recognize their own thought patterns and how they impact their behavior. I help provide individuals with the tools to regulate their emotional reactions and responses and to help them cope with difficult moments.
