As a psychologist licensed in Florida and New York, my goal is to establish a safe, nurturing, and secure environment for clients seeking to live to their fullest potential. I believe that a trusting relationship is necessary in order for individuals to grow and succeed. Therefore, I seek to work in collaboration with my clients to achieve their goals and establish a healthy lifestyle. In my work with children and adolescents I work closely with the parents and schools in order to provide a multidisciplinary treatment approach. I conduct home and school visits which are vital in working with children.
I use Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Interpersonal Therapy, as well as other evidence-based approaches to help individuals become aware of obstacles interfering with their overall well-being. Throughout this safe and nurturing process, the patient gains insight which reduces symptom severity, increases awareness, and the mind-body connection.
I treat a wide range of disorders including trauma from sexual/physical/emotional/narcissistic abuse, depression, anxiety, attention disorders, ASD, conduct disorder, and learning disabilities. I work with individuals ages 6 and over. I offer individual, couple, and family therapy, as well as psychoeducational assessments and psychological evaluations.
