As a clinician, I am passionate about working with individuals aged 14+ from different walks of life. I believe we all are facing our own distinctive experiences in life. Criminal convictions, substance abuse, loss of a loved one, and financial strain are just some of the barriers life can throw at us. I see the worth in helping others on their journey-whatever that may- be towards living life to the fullest in accordance with your own values and aspirations.
I have experience working with adjusting to life transitions, adjustment to disability, anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and trauma. Currently I am drawing from multiple theoretical orientations including Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Informed DBT Skills, and Motivational Interviewing.
I strive to help clients increase their psychological flexibility by opening up to the experience of the here and now and living a life according to their values. In our current neo-diverse society, I feel it is important that individuals receive the respect, dignity, and understanding they deserve in a session. Feel free to reach out!
