My background and experience helps me to consider your social context, beliefs and culture.
I have experience with anxiety, depression and other emotional or behavioral problems like anger management, substance use/abuse problems. I use the Emotional Focused Therapy and the Cognitive behavioral therapy approach and others approaches using mindfulness based interventions to help clients to cope better with his emotions as part of my practice.
My training and background gives me the possibility of offering counseling in Spanish, Portuguese and English. My multicultural approach, due my experience living in different countries, cultures and societies provide me a wider understanding of my clients needs and psychological health concerns
