I am a professional counselor licensed in Pennsylvania with over 8 years of counseling experience working with individuals who struggle with eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, and addictions. I love working with individuals to find freedom and remove any obstacles that prevent living the life they have always dreamed of. My therapy style is unique, creative, individual, warm, and accepting. I treat individuals with respect, compassion, and empathy. My ability to see different perspectives enables me to meet people where they are.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20+ years of experience. I have worked extensively with children and adolescents over most of those years. However, my practice is not devoted solely to children and adolescents, I also see many adults experiencing difficulties with depression and/or anxiety. Many of the children and adolescents I serve may be struggling with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), parental divorce, depression anger issues or bullying. I work with parents extensively, while working with their children to find strategies that are age appropriate and suitable to meet their needs.

Dr. Vaughn is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor at Vaughn Therapeutic Collective. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and parents. Dr. Vaughn provides the following clinical services: Individual Therapy, Play Therapy, Parent Child Interactional Therapy, Autplay, Telehealth, Mental Health Consultation to local schools. Dr. Vaughn has years of experience providing clinical services to those with ADHD, anxiety, autism (level 1), adjustment disorder, neurodevelopmental disorders, dysregulation issues, and other developmental disorders.

I help couples improve communication, build closer connections, and increase sexual intimacy. I work with parents to manage stressors of family life, including balancing family with personal care needs, and addressing their child's emotional or learning difficulties. I teach and/or supervise for Louisiana Tech University, University of Louisiana Monroe, Northwestern State University, and Louisiana State University in Shreveport. That’s why I’m here. My background in writing, the arts, and teaching yoga, help inform my style of therapy, which remains grounded in mindfulness, embodiment, and creativity.
