I provide forensic counseling services in the form of child custody evaluations, parenting coordination, court ordered counseling, and divorce counseling. I also work with adults and children who have concerns regarding severe mental illness and dual diagnosis (addiction and a mental illness). Those with anxiety conditions, depression, and adjustment disorders are also welcome in my practice.

My name Is Amelia. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Louisiana. My approach to therapy very person centered, as I focus on what goals the person would want to achieve and assist making the plan to achieve them. I am skilled in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motional interviewing, DBT therapy, solution focused therapy, and positive psychology. Due to the nature of mental health disorders, I work with, I would say my approach to therapy is basically helping you get through life as life continues to occur. I assist those who suffer within relationships, with anxiety, depression, stress, life!
