There are times when life overwhelms us. We become anxious, depressed, scared or even angry. These feelings may hijack our best efforts to realize our potential. My goal as your therapist is to focus on your strengths and challenges, helping you let go of patterns that no longer work as you gain insight and move into new possibilities for your life. I adjust my approach to the client's presenting problem, strengths, and treatment goals. Although the first step is the most difficult, the journey can be well-worth the effort.
My eclectic approach includes psychodynamic, mindfulness based stressed reduction, cognitive behavior therapy, sensorimotor psychotherapy, spiritual integration & more to address anxiety, mood regulation, dev. trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions. I believe if we can embrace the divine within, we can live more fully balanced and fulfilling lives.
