I feel honored when a client allows me access to a part of them usually kept hidden. The relationship has the potential to be truly special. I enjoy my work with individuals and couples. While I specialize in Marital/Couples therapy and ADHD, I also work well with many types of concerns including: Depression, Anxiety, Low Self-Esteem, Family Conflict, Work or School problems, Stress Management and Anger Management.
I consider one of my specialties to be Marital/Couples Therapy. I have done extensive training with the Gottman Institute. I utilize Dr. John Gottman's 50+ years of research in my work with couples and individuals.
My other specialty is ADHD. I am guided by the expertise of Dr. Edward Hallowell and his "strength-based" approach. I work with clients on understanding and accepting their unique strengths and challenges, toward guiding their behaviors and choices.
