I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, with more than 30 years of experience. I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples with a trauma history, as well as working with those with Christian values. I also help couples with techniques that will improve their communication issues, conflict resolution, and issues dealings with anxiety and depression. I can give you tools to improve your communication, repair your relationship, while supporting your Christion values. I would love to meet you so you may determine if I am a good fit for you.
I have worked a great deal with Christian individuals and couples. Often this includes issues of anxiety, depression, family and marital conflict, domestic violence, child abuse, and substance abuse issues. Telehealth is my only modality of treatment. If this works for you and I sound like a good fit, lets give it a try.
This counselor and my husband, Michael Laidlaw, LMFT sometimes work together with couples after assessing what treatment is needed for the couple. Sometimes it may be necessary for the couple to be seen separately in order to best treat an individual's issues that affect the couple's relationship. Then, we and the clients may decide to meet together.
