I am a psychotherapist, educator and behavior specialist for the last 20 years in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. I work with patients struggling with restrictive and binge eating disorders, as well as bariatric, or obesity, surgery patients in the short and long term phases of recovery challenges and successes. I've spoken at professional meetings and education seminars about eating disorders and pre and post operative bariatric surgery challenges for the last 2 decades. Eating disorders has a profound impact on individuals as well as family and social systems at any age.
My focus is to provide solution focus work with patients and their families in a collaborative and interactive manner. Issues range from mental health to addictive behaviors to life transition challenges in their relationships. It is my priority to address all areas of patient support needs to facilitate an overall greater quality of life.
I have a firm belief in finding concrete solutions to manageable issues; that INSIGHT ENCOURAGES ACTION. We work together in the now, in today, to address issues that are roadblocks to living more fully.
