My name is Lori Gordon and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in St. Louis, Missouri. I am licensed in both Missouri and Illinois working with clients statewide via telehealth. I have 16+ years experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and supporting clients with processing difficult emotions. I use a variety of evidence based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. I also treat chronic pain and insomnia.
My approach to goal setting with clients is to work as a team to sort through the complexities of the client's experience and identify challenges they would like to address as well as positive outcomes they would like to achieve. I do not believe that there is one therapy approach that fits all clients.
