I believe each of us has a unique inner light. However, some experiences we walk through over the course of our lives can progressively dull that light until we struggle finding our joy. I work with clients to identify and understand how past events in their lives may be influencing their current distress levels and to learn new ways of thinking and feeling about these events, accepting with love and integrating these new beliefs for a more body/mind experience.
My training is specialized in working through traumatic events, anxiety and depressive disorders with medical and healthcare providers and students, military service members, and the general population using CBT, EMDR, and body-mind/mindfulness principles.
