As a retired School Psychologist from the NYC Department of Education, I offer affordable psychotherapy for adults, children, couples and families. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD depression, grief, marital and relationship issues. I am available both online and in person in a conveniently located, therapeutically decorated office. I ask clients to call me by my nickname, Nina, and provide a relaxed, nurturing environment. For kids, I have a closet full of therapeutic toys. My goal is to provide greater peace of mind.
I have worked throughout my long career, in a number of settings, including in schools, community centers, homes and in my own clinical practice. I have conducted many psychological and mental health assessments. I also have a great deal of professional and personal experiences in promoting successful marriages.
I am uniquely qualified to help you on your journey as I am a survivor of many disasters and tragedies throughout my life and marriage. Overcoming many obstacles and setbacks has equipped me with compassion, tolerance and a great deal of patience. I am a meticulous listener and will strive to help you, your child or family with dedication and persistence.
