Sometimes life can feel so overwhelming that it seems the only thing we can do is numb out, shut down, give into addiction, dissociation, or other forms of self-injury. We can learn to survive what has seemed unsurvivable.
There are many descriptors for psychic pain and injury: depression, anxiety, borderline, trauma, bipolar, psychosis, obsession, grief - by working together psychoanalytically we can begin to transcend impasses and break painful patterns in order to move towards the experience of greater transformation and aliveness.
My approach is steeped in a deep regard for psychoanalytic study, theory, and practice and draws on my creative background.
