I have a passion in working with children, adolescents, and their families who are experiencing struggles with transitions, adjustment issues, family conflict, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, anger, grief, and trauma. I also provide services to adult individuals who are struggling with adjustment issues, relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, and self-esteem. I provide a comfortable environment of encouragement, respect, and empowerment to assist clients in acquiring new knowledge and skills to be equipped in reaching their therapeutic goals and strengthen their primary relationships.
I am client-centered in my therapeutic approach. I rely on a combination of therapeutic techniques and interventions, including CBT, Solution-Focused, EMDR, and take trauma-informed, mindfulness approach when assisting clients to discover, plan, and achieve their desired goals within the context of their values and culture.
I have a foundational belief that everyone can learn, grow, and develop given the support, resources, and guidance needed and that therapy is a journey of self-exploration and discovery. I meet people where they are at in their journey and guide and support them in the therapeutic process towards hope and recovery.
