Being a parent in 2024 is no small feat. The cost of everything is going up. We are constantly under pressure to do more with less. Is it a wonder we are feeling stressed and overwhelmed? We must work harder to provide for our families financially, but also be flexible to be available for our children because the support needed for new parents often does not exist. Liz specializes in helping clients adjust to the struggles of being a parent.
Liz’s counseling experience includes over 10 years of serving both child and adult survivors of domestic violence. Liz specializes in helping clients with a history of trauma explore how to break the cycle and set healthy patterns for their new families. Liz enjoys helping parents work to unlearn unhealthy patterns from toxic childhoods.
As a mother to two small children Liz recognizes the struggle finding time for self care. So much of our attention is focused on the needs of our children.
