As a Marriage and Family Therapist in Los Angeles, CA, I have worked with severely emotionally distressed individuals that have been in the foster system or in probation. I have experience helping adults with co-occurring disorders and assisting clients in crisis in a residential treatment program. I work with families and assist in identifying and breaking transgenerational trauma patterns, identifying underlying needs/wants, and developing an achievable treatment plan with the client. I also work with couples and implement Gottman's methods.
Throughout my career, I have gathered extensive tools that allow me to utilize and teach my clients with depression, anxiety, marital problems..etc. I am client-centered and use a combination of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing (MI) techniques.
