I am a licensed professional clinical counselor specializing in trauma reduction through EMDR. EMDR allows you to reprocess memories and form healthier thought patterns and behaviors in a way that works for you! It is not just about learning tools to “cope”. It is about releasing stored trauma in the body so chronic pain can dissipate. It is about letting go of internalized shame, fear, anger, depression, and anxiety.
I love working with people who are motivated to work towards their goals in a collaborative and safe space. I do not do extensive talk therapy because my goal is to help you find your own footing so you aren't endlessly reliant on me. I want you to learn to feel comfortable with your emotions and in making decisions that will best serve you moving forward.
