I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and have been in private practice for the past 25 years. I see my role as a guide to help you learn more about yourself. I listen carefully and without judgment. We work together to establish a comfortable collaboration where you can explore unsettling thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and/or whatever it is that brings you to my office. We identify the obstacles that are interfering with your goals and seek ways to overcome them. With increased insight, you ultimately develop a better understanding of yourself and experience more fulfilling personal, familial, and professional relationships.
My practice includes psychotherapy with adolescents and adults, play therapy with children, and consultations with parents and teachers. Years of intense study and rigorous clinical training in a variety of settings enable me to assess your situation carefully and choose an approach to therapy that is appropriate for you.
My office has recently moved. I am now located far off of Telegraph Road, just north of 13 Mile Road. My office is nestled against the woods, offering a wonderful view and retreat. Parking is easy and plentiful. The office is on the main floor and is handicap accessible.
