Everyone goes through difficult times. These times leave different marks on different people. I love working with clients who are ready to get healing for the pain and help to move on. Clients who are ready for a time when painful memories do not trigger painful emotions and physical responses. Clients who are ready for when anxiety is an occasional difficulty and then like a large, puffy cloud continues to wander on by. It takes work but healing is possible.
I've had opportunities to work cross culturally (through interpreters), working with children in schools, working with adults coming out of inpatient care, and working in traditional outpatient counseling settings. Through these different experiences, I am now focusing my counseling practice working with adults primarily with trauma and anxiety.
